Thank You...

to everyone who attended last night's chaperone meeting!  It was wonderful seeing so many band parents who are interested in really being involved.  If you were unable to attend, please contact Mr. Cothran (rfcothran@auburnschools.org).

In addition to chaperoning (and getting the kids to practice!), one of the MOST important ways we can support ALL our bands is to help with the ABPA's main fundraiser - the Concession Stand(s) at the AHS Varsity Football Games!!  
With the addition of a second stand, it is vital that we all try to volunteer for at least one home game (two would be ideal - three or more, fantastic!).  
 
Can't possibly work a Friday game?  Don't worry, you can still contribute by volunteering on Saturday mornings after the home games for Concession clean-up and re-stocking.  Also, there will be a major cleaning day in preparation for our health inspection
Saturday, August 8, 8:00 a.m.  
If you can't make any other time, please come out then - we need you! 

A sign-up sheet is available on the AHS Band Charms site, or you can e-mail us at AuburnBandParents@gmail.com to let us know which dates you will work.  Maggie Lawrence is our new Concessions Coordinator (and Vice-President), so touch base with her for more information.  There are a wide variety of tasks to be performed, so everyone can take part.  Remember, each and every one of our kids benefits from the work we do on behalf of our Band Parents Association.
